Send me your dates and the events you're planning, mehndi, haldi, sangeet, baraat, ceremony, reception, or whichever traditions are part of your weekend. Tell me where each one is happening and a little about both families. Within 48 hours you'll hear back from me with availability across your dates and my full guide, so you can see exactly how coverage works for a multi-day wedding before you decide anything.

We hop on a call and map your celebration event by event, because no two South Asian weddings look the same. Together, we choose the coverage and the days that fit. Once it feels right, I send a simple, plain-English contract, and a deposit saves all your dates at once. Your whole weekend is locked in, not just the ceremony.

Plan

As the celebration nears, we build a timeline for every event, not just one. We'll plan around the soft early light of the haldi, the energy of the baraat entrance, the rituals within the ceremony, and the late-night joy of the reception, with room for outfit changes and travel between venues. By the time your first event begins, the plan is set.

Across every day, my job is to make it feel effortless. I arrive early, stay calm through the chaos and the color, and guide you with easy, natural posing so you always look and feel your best. When I pull you aside for portraits, it's quick and fun, then I hand you right back to your guests. Through every ritual I'm respectful and ready, capturing each tradition as it unfolds so you can stay fully present with the people you love.

where are you based?

I'm based in Virginia Beach and regularly photograph weddings across Northern Virginia and DC. That said, South Asian celebrations have taken me all over, and I happily travel wherever yours is happening.

Yes, and it's one of my favorite things to do. Mehndi, haldi, sangeet, baraat, ceremony, reception, I can photograph the full weekend or just the days you need. These collections are built specifically for multi-day celebrations, so nothing gets left out of your story.

do you cover multi-day events?

The signature engagement or pre-wedding shoot is included in the South Asian package, which provides an extended 60-90 minute session with an outfit change included. It's a lovely way for us to get comfortable together before the big days, so I'm not a stranger behind the camera when your celebration begins.

is an engagement shoot included?

Roughly 75 to 100 hand-edited images per hour of coverage. For a multi-day wedding that adds up to a generous gallery spanning every event, delivered together as one complete story.

HOW MANY PICTURES WILL I GET?

Yes. If you were referred by a past couple, I offer a thank-you discount. The best couples tend to know other wonderful couples, and I love rewarding that.

Do you offer any referral discounts?

Absolutely. Whether you need an extra hour, an additional event day, coverage can be added at any point before the wedding. We'll build it around your specific celebration.

can i add extra coverage?

I focus on photography, but I work alongside trusted videographers I'd be glad to recommend. If you'd like, I can connect you with someone whose style pairs well with mine so your photo and video teams work seamlessly together.

do you offer videography?

Your deposit secures your dates and is non-refundable, as it reserves the time I would otherwise turn away other bookings. Payments made before a cancellation are refundable under the contract terms. Life happens, though, so if you need to move your date, I'll always do my best to transfer your booking when my calendar allows. Everything is spelled out plainly in your contract, no surprises.

WHAT’S YOUR CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY?

For weddings within the DC, Northern Virginia, and Virginia Beach area, travel is included. For celebrations beyond that, I simply add travel costs and accommodation for multi-day events that run long or have an early call time, all agreed upfront with no hidden fees. Wherever your wedding takes us, I'm there for the whole celebration.

HOW DOES TRAVELLING WORK?

Yes, and at no extra cost. After your deposit, the balance can be split into up to four installments leading up to your wedding, so the investment feels manageable alongside everything else you're planning.

Hope photographed my wedding and was incredible! She was responsive and communicative up front, made us feel so comfortable and relaxed the day of, and was super flexible with the schedule since we weren’t sure if we were going to be able to fit in sunset photos and some other moments. Not to mention the pictures are incredible—we love them all.

"We would use her again in a heartbeat"

"Hope was recommended to us for our civil ceremony and we couldn’t have asked for someone better. She was responsive, organized, timely, and very personable. We never felt uncomfortable or rushed during our photoshoot. She had cute tips and tricks to get just the right picture. Even her editing was amazing. We really cannot emphasize enough about how much we love our pictures and the quality, as well as working with Hope. We would use her again in a heartbeat!"

"A calm presence on the wedding day"

"From the moment we met Hope, we knew she was the perfect photographer to capture our wedding day. Her communication style was incredibly responsive, upbeat, and comforting, which was so valuable during the stressful wedding planning process. Hope took the time to thoroughly understand our preferences and vision, then brought them to life with her high-quality, artistic photography. On the day of the wedding, Hope's calm presence was a welcome respite from the chaos, and she expertly captured all the special moments that made our celebration so unique and meaningful. We are thrilled with the final photos and would highly recommend Hope Hoggard Photo to any couple looking for an amazing wedding photography experience."
