Every wedding I photograph reminds me why I love what I do. It’s not just about pretty pictures — it’s about emotion, connection, and the magic of being fully present on one of the most meaningful days of your life. I’ve seen hundreds of moments through my lens, but what I really want every couple to feel on their wedding day goes far beyond the photos.
There’s this moment I have before every wedding; usually when I’m standing in the corner of a getting-ready room, watching everything unfold. Hair dryers humming, champagne glasses clinking, a mix of laughter and nerves hanging in the air.
And I always think the same thing, “I just want them to feel everything today.”
Not the kind of everything that overwhelms you, but the kind that anchors you. The kind that makes you stop and breathe it all in.
I want you to feel calm.
Weddings are beautiful chaos, there’s no way around it. But in the middle of it all, I hope you feel a quiet kind of peace. That even if something goes “off script,” you’re still surrounded by love and excitement for your future together.
When I photograph, I’m not just chasing perfect light; I’m watching for those tiny, in-between moments that remind you it’s all okay. A deep breath. A hand squeeze. A laugh that breaks through the nerves.
I want you to feel connected.
The day flies by. There are timelines, details, people tugging at your attention, but I always make it a priority to create space for the two of you to just be.
Whether it’s a few minutes alone during golden hour or a slow exhale before walking down the aisle, I want you to have those quiet, grounding moments. Because that’s what the day is really about. Not the decorations, not the photos, but just you two.
I want you to feel joy – the kind that’s unfiltered and a little messy.
Laugh until your cheeks hurt. Cry if you need to. Dance barefoot. Hug your people tight.
The best photos, the ones that take your breath away later, are never the perfectly posed ones. They’re the real ones. The ones that feel like your personality.
I want you to feel seen.
Every love story looks different, and that’s the best part. I never want you to feel like you’re fitting into a mold. I want your photos to reflect your story, not what Pinterest says it should look like.
When you see your images later, I hope you recognize yourselves, the way you look at each other, the way your family adores you, the way the whole day feels like a reflection of your hearts.

At the end of every wedding, as I pack up my gear and say goodbye, I always have this quiet moment of gratitude for what I do. I’ll always be grateful for getting to be the one to be a part of every little moment on such a momentous day.
And more than anything, I hope when you look back on your wedding photos years from now, you feel everything all over again- calm, connected, joyful, and deeply seen.
That’s what I want every couple to feel on their wedding day. ❤️
